We write about pets the way they should be covered: slowly.
Paws & Pages is an independent pets magazine, published at merivoxa.vip. We exist for readers who treat the pet story as a scientific, economic and regulatory subject — not just a consumer trend. Our editorial style is deliberately low-key: we prefer long observation to noisy headlines, and we believe the most interesting parts of the story are rarely in the first press release.
Our articles explain publicly available veterinary guidance, breed standards, research, industry reports and regulations. Numbered citations identify sources for specific claims, and each article lists the scope of those sources. Industry estimates, forecasts and allegations are identified as such. Practical interpretation is editorial analysis; it does not imply that we conducted interviews, clinical research or hands-on product testing.
The publication date and editorial review date are shown separately. An editorial review records a check of the article and its cited material; it is not a review by a licensed veterinarian. Medical and behavior guidance is general information and cannot replace assessment of an individual animal. Regulations and travel requirements can change after a review, so check the relevant official authority before acting.
We do not sell products. Advertising may support the publication. Readers can use the source links to check the evidence and the contact page to report a specific error. A source supports the topic stated beside it; its inclusion does not imply endorsement of this publication.
The magazine ranges from the breed standards that defined the field to the recalls and regulations dominating today's news. We treat every entry as a complete subject, worthy of its own page, its own pace and its own reading experience.
What we cover
- Breeds — Breed encyclopedias grounded in official kennel club standards — history, temperament, size, lifespan and care needs.
- Pet Health — Preventive care, disease basics and veterinary guidance — reported with named veterinary sources, never diagnosis.
- Nutrition — Labels, ingredients, recalls and feeding science — what regulators and veterinary nutritionists actually say.
- Training & Behavior — Humane, science-based training and behavior — from socialization windows to resource guarding.
- Industry News — Regulation, recalls, market data and the business of pets — the context behind the numbers.
Our belief
Good journalism on pets does not tell you what to think. It gives you a vocabulary for what you have already noticed. That is why our pages combine practical guidance with market data and historical context. We would rather every visit leave you more curious than more certain.
How to use this site
Start with the homepage: every card links to a full article, and the facts come before the analysis. Follow a category to watch a story develop over time. Check our figures against the sources we cite — the most useful notes are the ones you verify yourself. If something looks wrong, tell us through the contact page; and if you want to know how your data is handled, read our Privacy Policy.
